hi new guy from oz onboard

Hey everyone i have just joined the forums. I am based down here in melbourne australia. I have just bought a 69 camaro its got a 6.0 ls2 and a 6 spd manual gear box, front coilovers and a rack and pinion conversion. It is awsome I bought it sight unseen from a importer in queensland which is approx 900+ miles from home i flew up then drove it home!! Im luvin it ive only had it 3 weeks and i am fast becoming one of classic industries best customers!! Ive also fitted a pair of Leather trimmed front seats out of what you fellas know as a pontiac G8 they are much more comfortable than the old standard seats. This weekend im fitting 330mm front disc brakes and 300mm rear discs.
looking ahead i am thinking about vintage air and a set of extractors.
i would also like to know who actually built it. I am led to believe it came from Arizona ?
Any way ive banged on long enough i look forward to enjoying all this site has to offer.

      Cheers Tony.

Was that the yellow one from Peter Leahy? I'm in Melbourne doing hail repairs but live in Brisbane. I cant believe how much cool old stuff I see driving around the streets on a daily basis. Give me a pm if you want to catch up.

Nice car... Sounds like you have some G8 GT seats swapped in... I'd love to see them.

My daily driver is a 2008 magnetic grey metallic G8 GT... thanks for the awesome engineering/ride!

Also - I ran into some of your fellow blokes on the Hot Rod Power Tour....

5 Aussies imported there HSV Maloo's for the Power Tour and then shipped them back after the 4k mile road trip!

You guys get all the cool stuff down there.... where stuck with mostly fwd cars here :(
