Depends on what you're looking for. There's a salvage yard in New Hampshire called Bow Auto that specializes in the truck LS (iron block) engines. That's where I got my LQ9.

I'm not affiliated in any way, but happy with my 6.0. They have an eBay store: http://stores.ebay.com/bowautoparts

He gets about 10 a month; everything from 5.3's to 6.2's and T56's and most with about 10k miles on them. I bet there's at leaast 15 guys here (maybe more) in the last 4 months that have gotten dorp outs from him, including myself.

If you need his email send me a PM. He's located in Indy and shipping is easy and pretty cheap.

Travis is not a good source for anything. Go look in the feedback forum.

Thanks for keeping this thread up to date. I almost went down that road when I did my LS swap. I was right in the middle of a deal with him and I waited for several weeks for a response when a better local deal came up. If he had been quicker to respond, I would have been out five grand.

Howdy neighbor, long time lurker here. Interesting timing with this thread as I had spent the past year half looking for a complete pull out. So Thursday the week before thanksgiving my son and I picked up a very complete LQ9 for his 69 bird project. The following afternoon he did me proud by rolling my 03 Denali. So now as luck would have it, I have the 9, a 4 and two 4le65's. Both trans where from AWDs, but that's an easy swap. If you're interested in the LQ4 let me know. She ran like a champ and never skipped a beat. I've been thinking about listing it for sale here, but haven't gotten around to it. I also have zero desire to CL it as I don't want any potential crack heads at my shop.

      Cam.
