      So the 2nd pic is the hotchkiss AND the lowering block? Huh.



      Mine, hotchkiss TVS all around, herb adams mod to front spring bracket. WW lip to center of hub Front ~13.5", Rear ~13.0"


      26.5" tall hoops. that is why I don't really want to run 275/40/17s

      Yep, lowering block and Hotchkis Springs in the 2nd pic. I'll edit that for clarification.

      Your car looks great. Had my springs sat like that, I wouldn't have had to go to the lowering block.

      Lastly, I think Camaros and Firebirds have different fender arch heights, rendering my wheel center to fender center measurement not quite as useful.

      They do have different openings so I suppose the height could be different a bit too. It is low. I have a pypes crossflow setup in the garage for it because I need clearance. And thanks.

      If you use an aluminum block, check it periodically. Mine came out in pieces. I did not have many miles on it but, they were somewhat abusive miles.

      Camaros and Firebirds have way different opening esp in front. I found this out when using some wheels that had plenty of clearance on a TA and trying to use them on a Camaro just to roll around the garage. Could barely lower the front off the jack and they hit.

      sorry, i saw this thread late.

      here is mine setup



      i've made my own kit. i took 2" block that i cut to ride high i wanted (35mm). you can think it's a little high but with my wife, my daughter and me in car, the suspension loose around 2cm.

      The Herb Adams mod for 2nd Gens will lower it slightly and has other benefits too.
