      Country Flag: United States
We made it to Phoenix about 5pm local time today. Had a conversation with an officer at the New Mexico weight scale last night. He couldn't believe that someone (me) would be hauling my car across country just to race it, no sponsorship, no business paying the bills, etc. I told him I was sorry I did not take up golf as a hobby, but yes, I do travel long distances on my dime to play. He was just doing his job, no issues there, but it did get me to thinking, I must be crazy..haha

Some know I bought the Charger from a guy here in Phoenix, so I just could not resist driving it over to his house tonight and show him the finished product. He was very happy with the way it turned out, even though he is more of an original type guy. He had a big grin on his face when I took him for a ride on the 101 and made some hard turns for him. Fun car to drive indeed, I wish we could have driven out all the way. Looking forward to driving it to LA Thursday.
