      Leaking Camaro taillight lens gasket

I have a 1967 Camaro and noticed water pooling in my trunk pan after any water gets on the car. So I did a test, this is where you really have to trust your wife, I got in the trunk closed the lid and had her run water over the trunk area. Almost instantlly water came in from around the taillight lens gasket.

My question is this, is there a better gasket than the "heavy density black foam" gasket offered from the resto shops? Any help would be very appreciated.

Call the resto parts guys. They were all thin but now they have them thicker. ask them.

The last one's I used came from Ricks First Gen. They're a thicker white foam. Not sure what brand they were, but they seemed to work well.
