Return to the Coast was good fun, I finished 4th overall in the autocross after 2 days, beat down by Rob Mcgregor and his Hellboy truck, Karl Dunn and his Blue Balls Camaro, Gerald Lum and his silver bullet 70's camaro, I will add some pictures of the event later

      also got a great award!

      Goodguys Pleasanton Autumn Get-Together

Saturday morning we loaded up at 6am to get to the event early and as I rolled in my freinds Kyle (Kyle Newman from Newman Car Creations) and Deanna (Deanna Mareango from Hotchkis) were already parked and getting ready for the day so I pulled in and we started getting ready

after the morning runs we were all fast!

so we go to the end of day race off

      and the standings change

Kyle Newman with Newman Car Creations 55 chevy takes 1st
Frasier from CARS in his 2nd Gen Camaro takes 2nd
and myself (Rodney Prouty) in my 1968 camaro takes 3rd
Time to pack it up for the night

after a great post race dinner at Vals with Kyle Newman, Dave Wheeler my girlfriend Suzy
we head to my house for some Forza racing practice, (heres Kyle talking on the phone and racing Laguna Seca)

Goodguys Pleasanton Autumn Get-Together part 2

sunday morning, headed back and the throwout bearing breaks in my camaro, I get to Goodguys and I get asked if I will just stick with yesterdays times or race, and I will race until the car has to be towed, and once again we are back and ready to battle, getting ready, talking about the tightness of the track, were can we pick up a 10th or a 100th

again it comes down to the last runs of the day!!! an Kyle opened up a good 1st place time and I get pushed down to 4th when a 2002 corvette gets me in the end

heres the end of the weekend time for us

so monday night the car is back on the rack so I can yank the transmission, I replaced the throw-out and put in a new centerforce 2 clutch

heres the Grimm reaper helping me change it all out

it was a long Monday night! but after a few hours (3 to complete the job) dropped on the ground, I fired the car up and the same noise comes from the car, so we put the car back on the rack running and the noise seems to be coming from the pilot bushing or the trans input shaft so Tuesday night after work I will pull it apart again, times running short till Scottsdale Goodguys
