      1st Gen F-Body Body Cart

I have access to the materials and want to build a rolling body cart/dolly for my 69 Firebird. I just picked up some old frame charts to give me some basic dimensions but has anyone built one and has a cut-list or the plans to build one? I'd like to get my subframe dropped out soon and start replacing sheet metal and be able to move the shell around my shop and transport it on my trailer to the blaster, etc. Thanks!

I made mine so that it would adjustable in both directions so it could fit other projects. Use good casters!

MY neighbor helped build mine. we made it very simple, but for a reason, it allows us to modify it to suit the project as time goes on.

example- we made it long enough to be stable o it wouldn't flip over. turned out it was too much weight still so we added a middle pair of casters. so far so good.

It was a simple design with some square stock at a local metal supply company and some 6" casters from harbor freight.,

I hate to bump such an old thread, but, the link in post#2 has no pictures/attachments. If anyone has a set of plans or dimensions, please share.

      Thanks

Thanks. But i was looking for something for free. Not to sound cheap, i have a cart half made and i wanted to add a few more attachment points to the car to keep everything lined up once I start removing panels.

Thank you, that's great. For some reason my computer at work will not display the pictures. Last night I was able to view them on my home PC. That is a nice cart!!
