69 Camaro in the weeds...
So I found a 69 in the weeds in front of a house. I am currently trying to get ahold of the home owner to find out if it is for sale. My question to you folks is, what is it worth? I don't know anything about the motor it appears to be an auto bucket seat car that looks to only be missing the center console. Slight rust around the rear quarters, and some surface rust on the fenders. I didn't see any of the floors or the subframe. It was last inspected and regestered in the late 80's early 90's. I am assuming it has set since then... what should I offer them that won't offend them but won't put me out of the ball park either?
Thanks for the info...

I would first try and see if they are interested. Then I would try and get them to name a price. It could be much lower than you expect and you could walk away with a steal. However they will probably greatly overestimate the value and ask too much. I would say its worth checking out though.

Well that is in the back of my mind, but... I will tell you how I came across the car. I am a cop and had to go to a bunch of houses in the woods and the one with the car looks like it may not be lived in anymore. So my hope is the people are alive and fine, but may need some cash fast. Like I said that is my HOPE, the reality is you are probubly right. Thanks for the post though... I really would just like some ball park figures though.
