Trash it? (Flywheel)
Have a 10-235 Hayes flywheel that I have been off and on trying to sell for a while. The problem is, there is a good amount of pitting damage to the backside of the flywheel. I have had the flywheel tanked and the friction side resurfaced.
I am wondering if the damage is enough to warrant having the balance (or in this case the out-of-balance) checked out? If it were a neutral flywheel it would be simple a cake, but due to the detroit balance, my head is scratching.
Or, should I chalk it up to a loss and trash it?
Any input would be appreciated..
