      Finally Running Like It Should!!!

Well I’ve been wrestling with the engine for a while, First it would not idle below 2000RPM’s.
Demon told me I bought the wrong carb, so I bought a new one.
That carb (Speed Demon) would fill the cylinders full of fuel. If you had the carb raised off the manifold and turned on the fuel pump it would not leak a drop, as soon as it received vacuum from the engine it would fill it (fuel would poor out the cylinders when you took out a plug) The fuel pressure was checked and carb cleaned.
I traded it for a Holley with a Proform main body and it runs great.
It also had some valve train noise, sounded like the rockers were loose, after adjusting them and re adjusting them I found out a few of the rockers were touching the valve covers, after cleaning off some of the ?casting flash? from the rockers they are fine.

Now the car starts and FINALLY runs like it should! Now I can tidy up under the hood and I will be done under there

I was so happy I took a few pictures…It won’t be long now
