Have you considered cutting and making the splice at the outer end where the valance makes a dog-leg outward (matches a mustang hood)?

This would allow you to do two things, gain width and smooth the contour to fit the falcon.

Thats a good thought. I already made the cut in the middle. i agree with the thought follow the falcon shape, but it actually looks really good to me with the mustang hood profile. i dont know why???? but it seams to fit with it on the car. eventhough in my mind it seams akward.

Nice man, can't wait to see it! I was figuring the easiest way to do that was just to split it in the middle and fill...

      I'm sure it looks awesome!

The lines of the bumper match up well with the lines of the fender. This is definitely a cool build.

here are some updates. i have it mounted to the car now and im driving it. but no pictures yet. i still have more work to do. the gap needs filling and i need to attach it to the fenders. also i bought a new fan, a Zirgo black plastic. it is rated at more CFM and might look a little better.

It gives the Falcon a much tougher looking front end.....I like it!

that what i was thinking, It make it look mean. It is no longer the falcon that your grandma had, HAHA. I get that a lot.

"My so and so had a falcon 6 cylinder when i was young." HAHA.

My car is definetly not what you remember about the falcon you once had.

      thanks wayne

      UPDATE:

I spent more time mounting the front valance. I lined up the sides with the fenders. Also strengthen the gap in the middle where i made the cut. I still need to fill it in with fiberglass and completly reinforce the center. i dont know why i am moving so slow on the project. I guess simutaneoulsy helping my dad put on his carbon fiber hood on his mustang this weekend was slowing me down.

I also had an idea of making the center opening smaller. That way it would match up with the radiator better and provide a more streamlined airflow. just a thought.

I know... I will post some current pics.

sorry for the lack of updates. i was at SEMA two weeks ago then i was sick last week. But i did get my new electric fan mounted. Its an all black Zirgo (3300 cfm) so it looks better and moves more air.

i still have the gap in the center but i will get some pics this week. If I can get off work when its light outside the pics might turn out good.
