      anyone around Dayton, Ohio

      I am wanting to shave my emblem holes on my 2006 Ford Ranger... is there anyone around the Dayon, Ohio area that could help me weld the emblem holes shut?

      any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

      Yeah, I am able to weld, I do not own a welder though and unfortunately I do not have the funds for one at the moment either...

      You can rent a Mig unit that should work on 115V if you don't have a 220V plug, that and a spool of flux wire should get you done.

      does your ranger have the aluminum front end like the explorers?...can't just zap a few welds if that's the case...fenders and hood on some were aluminum from ford on the explorers, that's why i asked..

      I believe I have the steel front fenders and hood... I was not aware that the Explorer had a Aluminum front end...
