JC, the pedal assembly turned out great. Nice work. I should have some brake stuff to talk over with you by this weekend...but in the meantime, do your wheel studs have a 3-digit number on the heads?

Thanks Tobin! Four of the five studs have a big diamond with a dot and the number 12 in it and they are 1 1/4" long. The oddball looks like it has J D and another D centered under the first two and it is 1 1/2" long.

Have you sent me any emails? I haven't gotten any.... I'm kinda waiting on Clemson to boot me off of my email account since I already graduated, but they haven't done it yet. If you need to, email me at [email protected] or post here.

Can't wait to see what you've come up with!

My plan for my wagon, '66 Country Sedan, was to use the discs and calipers off a 06 crown vic. It looked like I would have to turn down the hub slightly but not bad. I wanted new car parts availability. I went crazy and pulled the entire crossmember off the Vic and swapped it over instead!

Yea, I've heard of people doing crown vic brakes and such. Should work pretty well, but I was going for "high performance" and figured that if Tobin was good enough (which I'm positive he is), he would hook me up with a sweet setup.

No pressure...no pressure...no pressure...we're working on it and it's looking good. I owe you some ballpark numbers JC and I'm working on it, just taking a bit longer to get quotes back than I expected. I'm really pleased with how the bracket design turned out, just need to finalize the hubs if you decide to go billet over the factory drum units, but all is going well.

No pressure Tobin! As long as you are pleased, I will be pleased (since you are the brake master and I'm just a peon). Yea, the numbers will decide if I go with the new hubs or not. If you would like, I can email you exactly what I'm thinking package wise and you can tell me the numbers for each set-up (stock hubs vs. new hubs) when you get them. Just let me know.

I added some pictures to the first post in this thread. They are pictures that were in an old photo album that my Dad had.

Haven't updated in a while, but I got good news from Tobin. He thinks that the brakes should be ready to ship out next week! YAY! I'm getting excited!

P.S. I can't wait to try to put the dash back together..... that's going to be a PITA!

Thanks guys, I wish the weather was a little warmer so that I could get a little more done. I got a little bit done today. I pulled the brakes off of the passenger's side down to the bare spindle and finished pulling the wheels and drums off of the back before it got dark.

I have to give props to Tobin and Kore3. So far, everything looks great. Tobin worked his ass off to get this kit built for me, and I highly appreciate it. One off stuff is not easy, but Tobin made it seem it, so thank you Tobin. I'm sure I will be calling him a few times with installation questions, but so far he has managed to answer every question I have thrown at him.

The brakes look nice. They should have some good stopping power.

I am curious as to why you didn't just use a 13" cobra Rotor/spacer like vintage venom or steves mustang? Then you would just need to fab a caliper bracket for your application. Your stuff looks very cool but it sure doesn't look cheap.
