LS1 Radiator hose

My LS1 keeps blowing of the lower radiator hose. What can be causing this problem. The Radiator cap seems to be working, Coolant was leaking out the overflow before the hose blew off. I have tried double banding and it still blew off. This happens about 30 seconds after you shut the motor off. Temp guage reads right arround 190.

Sounds like a stuck thermostat.

Try new hose like a gates made one from NAPA or Carquest. you might also take cap and have tested at garage as it amy not be releasing, and make sure the rubber isnt swollen as this will amke them stick.
