Right now I have an LS1 and TKO 600, but I rather have a 6th gear to keep the long trip revs down. I had a SBC and a T56 years ago, and I couldnt get the double pumper to get along with 6th gear.

      Bigblock with 4spd, but in reality I would like a LQ4 with snails and a T56 6spd.

Tremec TKO600 behind a Lingenfelter All Aluminum SBC 427 with 646HP with TPIS Miniram and Holley HP EFI System in an 89 C4 Corvette. Old school insofar as the engine assembly.

Wow, this is an old thread. I know for a fact that a lot of the posters are running different engines and transmissions from what they were back then.

Indeed. It would have been interesting to get longitudinal results for the poll, but that's not possible.
