Pro-Touring show winner first time out.

Pro Touring show winner first time out. I posted a picture of my 64 ford falcon sprint about 5 months ago and it is now 95% done. Well here in Henderson/Las Vegas Nevada the Super Run Car Show ended this past weekend. There were over 1500 cars and it was quite an event with some of the most beautiful classic and other types of cars you could ever see. There were one hundred and fifty "Outstanding Vehicle" awards given out and I was one of them.

Below are some pics and videos one of which is the car going to get loaded in van after the show. Believe it or not I have not even personally driven the car yet. The flows/mufflers have not been installed nor is the car dialed in. I still need air cleaner set up cause the hood will not close. Also the accelarator pedal was "mickey moused" until we get a correct one. The night before the show the drive shaft was put in so it could at least drive.

The car is really loud and hearing it on the video does not do the sound justice. In fact, my mechanic cruised it Friday night and two car alarms went off. The motor is a 408 solid roller stroker built by "Bad Ass Racing" in Sonoma CA and puts out at lease 530hp and it will run in the 10's. This is not a crate motor. It also has coil overs, Heidts front end mustang II suspension, 4 link system and corvette disc breaks all around. Anyway, I'm really excited and I received numerous compliments.

Very nice man....I was at the show with my car Friday and Saturday for a few hours. I didn't enter because I wasn't crazy about leaving it. I never walked down water street that far North. Cars and Coffee on Eastern and 215 Saturday mornings. Good turnout usually. I'll be there along with a couple other Saturday if your car is ready which I doubt.

Thanks! And yes I'm familiar with the Saturday show I was there once. My mechanic lives very close to that area and goes there with his Willys. I live on the Northwest side of town (Craig and Jones) and there is a car show every Sunday from 8-10 which is really growing.

And no, my car will not be completely ready for about another two weeks. I'm sure you know how it goes with delays and waiting for parts etc. Thanks again.
