I know what you mean; all so-called 'supercars' have a similar layout: mid engine, short nose, wedge shaped. it's hard for most of us to relate to such expensive hardware, but, I thought I'd mention it.
at least this one seems a bit more promising as an American supercar than the Vector did some years back.

I saw the Jay Leno vid last week and I thought they say in that vid that it has a proprietary engine and that they decided not to go with the GM based engine? Where does it say on the site that it's an LS engine?

I got the impression that they used an LS engine from GM and then they had a billet copy made for strength .

I saw several of those cars in person at Concorso Italiano a couple of years back.. I wasn't impressed and I don't think most of you would be happy with the fiberglass / carbon fiber work either. It was pretty damn wavy for a 585K car. The hood even looked like it was sagging in the middle.

Here's the only pic I took of them. The fit and finish just wasn't there compared to the S7, and other low production supercars. It reminded me more of a Kit Car.

Yes; I believe it was unveiled around the 2004 SEMA show in a VegaS CasinO LobbY or something like that? I lost some BraiN CellS since then......

Also not impressed? Spend twice that and get the 1001 HP quad TurbO W 16 BugatI VyroN and go 250 in StylE and ComforT; WitH the interior smelling like a catchers MiT! Or spend 1/6 of that and have ProdigY build the sickest Muscle CaR of your dreams??? Just Guessing what it would take?

Did anyone else notice this? I'm almost positive the headlights are from a SVT Focus.

Here is a pic of my Focus - whatta ya think?

Pretty close if not. They probably used them for the DOT approval.

Eww, a LS7 is never going to sound like that V12 and it will make less power to boot.

actually the LS7 makes 505hp / 470 ft lbs. compared to the Diablos 492 hp / 428 ft lbs.

But, yeah it will never sound like a v-12, much less a lamborghini v-12. Hell If I had the money there are some cars that I would buy based on the sound alone regardless of how much power they had.

I think you are right Wiedemab. I have an SVT focus with the HIDs and they do look exactly like the SSCs.

ditto that. I saw one at SEMA last year in the back of the wheel and tire room. Fit and finish was scary poor. Gaps around the panels were very inconsistent and choppy. Can't imagine what that thing would look like after 10K miles. Not good. I'd rather have a Zonda.

Good Aero is good Aero... Have you noticed that almost all tiny purpose-built hybrids look the same? It's not coincidence, it's just an efficient design with their packaging requirements.

That's the first thing I noticed as well.
