The wheels on the Dale Jr. model are awful. Having Dale Jr's name splattered on the car is a deal breaker for me. I do however like the decklid spoiler.

The Dale Jr front grille is much better than the stock grille. The stock grille looks to bulky and looks like it belongs on a truck

A few years ago I saw the new camaro close up at the F-body gathering In Atlanta...(Scott Settlemire was driving it around the lot... got some great pictures of that event and a few beers we had with him in the weee hours of the night great guy! btw )

But besides that the car did not move me as much as I thought.... I am a big f-body guy that has or had 4th and 2nd gen f-bodys)

Gm has been talking about this car for years... and just like many times before they have great concepts but never follow though with them and they always seemed to get watered down .. once it reaches the public or price them ridiculous like they did to the GTO ........

I'm a big F-body fan. I've had 2 first gens, one I bought 3 times. 2 third gens, and 1 fouth gen. I didn't like this new one when it first came out. Now, I'm tempted to go in debt and trade the Zo6 in on one. My Chevy salesman called me last week and said they have 10 allotments and I could order one if I wanted... It's soooo tempting...

The GS Racer Concept is the best.

Thats my biggest fear when these cars hit the showroom floors, that the stealership is going to mark them up some ridiculous amount

There are dealers taking orders today with fully-refundable deposits and contracts to sell the cars for MSRP, so I think with a little searching you will be able to find them for MSRP when they hit the lots. Of course there's going to be the jerkwad dealer up the road that wants a $5K "market adjustment" but there are others that will not.

I absolutely hate the interior. The rest of it is nice. I still would like to swap out the front fascia for a Horton-like one-off.

The dealerships that do that sort of thing are only as guilty as the guys with money to burn who basically outbid each other and drive the price up.The dealership isn't twisting anybodies arm to overpay , but some jerks out there just have to have the first one in their neighborhood , so they offer more and drive the price up.
