wheel and tire size with back spacing

i have a 1969 camaro convert has dse front and dse mini tubs back.

need to know what size rim to put that 335 on.

on the front want it to look mean but not bigger than a 8 wide rim.

what is the best company for a tire package using a 18" rim front and back.

any one know the back spacing when using a 335 back tire.

      Fellow Vert w/mini tubs

Which tire are you looking at (attached is a link to the BFG KDW)

      http://www.bfgoodrichtires.com/specs...-a-kdw/22.html

Is the car mostly for daily street use? Some flogging on the track? Show? Are you sticking w/stock width differential?

I have the mini tubs for mine but havent installed them so I dont have any backspacing spec yet,so I am looking forward to seeing how yours turns out. I will probably narrow mine an inch on each side so my specs will be different.

Side question,,,,, Did you do any special reinforcing because its a vert w/mini tubs (I got alot of negatory feedback when I proposed putting them in my vert)???

      Keep us posted.........

      vert

no I didn't do any extra but with a vert. the back seat support has to be removed to put the shock mount in the when reinstalling seat back i angle cut whith the same angel as the shock mount so quick look appears stock even though it is shorter on on side than the other. there is so much extra work put the factory stuff back should be plenty of support.

as for cuting up an original 1969 rs convert with power top steering a/c also power disk front with multi leaf 12 bolt. it is my ride and I will build my dream car how I want.

They discontinued that tire. I am going with a Michelin Pilot Sport II. I almost went with a 19 out back but that limits you to a new Z06 325 run flat. The tire reviews are less than spectacular on that tire. The michelin psII have excellent performance.
