      Vent Windows- My way

Some of you know me from lateral-g and camaros.net but for those of you that don't frequent those sites I figured it was time to post over here as well.

My car was stock and in fairly good condition, the madness started when I decided to swap the stock M21 for a TKO, Weeks later it was disc brakes, a month later it was the engine.... you get the picture.
I stumbled across the pro-touring community by chance and instantly fell in love with the look and performance these builds offered.

After a year of wrenching in my spare time (which isn't much) I decided to seek the help of a professional shop to finish the car. I called Rodger with Ironworks Speed and Kustoms in Bakersfield California. Rodger's company specializes in trick metal fabrication, the kind of fabrication needed to stuff 15 lbs of custom parts in a 5lb box.

On Aug. 21st, Rodger made the 580 mile round trip from Bakersfield to Concord to meet with me and pick up my car.

First things first... get the car to sit right.

My biggest regret about giving my car to Rodger is the timing. I should have done it last year. Completion of my car should be early Jan.

      Rodger is providing:

Installation of the LS2 and T56
      Suspension
      Exhaust
      Pro- Charger
      Intercooler
      Wiring
      Custom dash with gauges
      Custom body mods
      Classic auto air
      Mini tubs
      willwood brake system
      hydro boost
      brake plumbing
      sub frame connectors
      power windows
      tinted glass
      Synsiter serpentine system
      Custom plumping
      Ricks tank, fuel system
      wheels: HRE 893's
      Tires: BFG

I know I'm forgetting a bunch of stuff so hopefully Rodger will chime in and give you guys the scoop on the killer stuff he is doing.

Here is a pic of the modified body to get the exhaust off the ground:

Vent Windows = 67 Camaro (Most guys hate vent windows but I dig em.)

      My Way= that's obvious.

Gotcha...Who doesn't like vent windows? People probably don't like the car because its not a 1969. 1967 camaros never get any respect.

      My point exactly.

There are tons of guys building PT 69's and if you frequent camaros.net you find the preferred 1st gen is the 69.

I have to admit the front valance and grill does look cool on a 69 but RS 67 can look just as good.

very cool start. I had no idea so many people were modifying their floors to run traditional dual mufflers without them hanging down. Makes me think I should consider it for my TA since I really don't plan to keep the back seat.

They are ARP wheel studs in the front hubs. ATS offers that as an option on their spindles.
