      DSE Mini Tub Question!?

I'm ready to call and order my mini tubs from DSE, but I was wondering if I need to wait until I receive them until I start notching my frame rails and floor. The stock tubs are cut out, and by reading some threads, the dimensions have been given to start cutting. Do I need to wait on the mini tubs and DVD, and are they really that helpful because I hear a lot of guys saying the dimensions for cutting are not that clear.

      THANKS!

if the tubs are removed i would copy the pattern of the opening and trace it in the new position.

i would just wait if i were you. you'll save maybe a few days in time... worth it to just have the parts there to make sure everything is dead on, since all our cars are at least slightly different because of their age.

I'd wait on the parts too.

      I would wait.

      Measure twice and cut once.

I don't think it matters. As long as you have the templates from the DVD you can start cutting out the inner fenders and then paste the templates up to the frame, while you are waiting for the parts to arrive.

You have to have big enough opening to fit the new mini-tubs in anyways before can really fit everything.

Take a look at the Novice's Mini-tub guide:
      https://www.pro-touring.com/forum/sh...ad.php?t=46900

You could get to step #10 or even #11 w/o the tubs. I wouldn't cut the frame rails w/o the templates from the CD thou. But you could certainly even just cut out the old inner fender before the parts arrive even without the templates.

      Hope this helps!
