      Powder coating Baer calipers?

I know this can be done, but the guy said his oven reaches 450degrees. I know there has to be rubber seals in the calipers. How do I take them apart and put them back together? Mabye they dont have to come apart to powdercoat? I dunno please help thanks.

This is something I've wondered too. Calipers can get hotter than 450* at times, so I wonder if baking them would even hurt.

There are lots of shots of powdercoated calipers on the Eastwood forums... here's one... so I think it's probably OK. I'd like to coat some myself.
