      1972 camaro radiator install issues

Ok, just yanked out the old radiator with a new, nice shiny aluminum radiator to put in and wouldn't you know it, the old one wasn't even installed right (I assume)

There is no bolts etc holding the old radiator in, it was set on two of those rubber pads and thats it. The only thing holding the radiator in was the upper cover that was bolted to the radiator and to that was then bolted to the core support.

Please someone tell me this is incorrect, it has to be. I see two holes at the bottom of the core support but nowhere corresponding on my old radiator?!

Can someone please breakdown how these damn things are supposed to attach?

The top cover is the only thing that holds the rad in place along with the rubber pads on the bottom which go under the tanks on each side
