Twin supercharged 66 Mustang from Australia.

Not really pro-touring related because you wouldn't be able to see over the engine. Still sick!

Looks like one of those Muscle Machine diecasts to me.

Does that really work, pushing the supercharged air through another supercharger, and does it really accomplish anything other than really heating the air coming in?

It appears that it is a bigger supercharger feeding a smaller one. Only way I think it would work is if someone really did their math on the pulley sizes.

Ok, I've now read the linked article on the car.

      A couple of thoughts:
      1. Other than the obnoxious engine, the rest of the car looks really well done. Didn't notice the 2-inch chop on the top. The side-window delete is an .. interesting .. option.
      2. What is a "Rose Joint"? It looks like just regular bushings from the pic of the front end. (although air-bags aren't really my thing)
      3. A HEMI? Isn't that a sin for both the Ford AND the Chrysler folks?
      4. Austrailians talk funny. "Choc-o-bloc" (Nine-inch diff is choc-o-bloc)? "Turret" for the roof? "Extractors" instead of headers? Or is it the rest of us that talk funny?

I agree -- his $ has outstripped his taste. I guess it is interesting from an
engineering point of view (cf. Rick Dobbertin's J2000).

If I had unlimited $, I'd build a dual supercharger Ford FE that looks more like:

The owner of this car is Gary Myers - a legend for his burnout antics in Australia. He has another stang that he flogs the living sh*t out of at all the major shows in Oz. The twin blown car is purely show only and was built to win trophies. See attached pics of his burnout car in action.
