      Need help with compressor bracket!

I need to come up with a REAR bracket for my A/C compressor. The original bolted on with the two middle intake man. bolts, but I now have Vortec heads so I don't have those anymore. I saw a Chevelle this weekend with a bracket that bolted on with the headers. The owner didn't know anything about it. Do you?

I'd sure check with the belt drive makers on this one.

Vintage Air, March, Zoops, Billet Specialties and some others all offer belt drive setups with A/C compressors, and they all sell their own brackets. Someone at one of these companies is sure to be able to help you out!

Most header makers have the bracket you need. You might have to change the other bracket on the back of the compressor to the older style. Some of them bolted to a bracket that fit in the header bolt holes.
