      Hey Wayne,

Glad those terminals worked out for you. I would also add a wire to the S terminal and run that to your main power distribution point.

Looking great Wayne! That shifter looks sweet in that console.

The heat seems to be extra brutal this summer. Either that or the older I get, I probably just can't hack it like I used to...

Keep grinding. It's great to see the updates.

Ray same here with the heat. Unfortunately as much as I hate to admit it it's the older with me! You have a double whammy where you live.

I had to change one bolt on the drivers side for the brake kit. No one had one anywhere around me not even my go to Aquidneck fasteners. I had to order them from McMaster-Carr, which they were great I ordered 2AM Monday and had them 4pm Tuesday. Can't ask for anything better than that. The drivers side is all put back together with the caliper all shimmed and ready to go with the e brake inside the hub.
Now the passenger side is another story. I put all the shims on the axle because of the weird off set i had made ( totally my fault ) so we put the bolts in and start tightening them up, grade 8 fine thread with crush nuts. ( slightly out of round for a locking effect.) First three going fine just to snug for an even clamping. Go around again to finish tighten same three fine fourth one Seized like you wouldn't believe! I'm not a little guy and my buddy has hands twice my size, it kicked the crap out of us!! Wouldn't budge we tried everything we had. Only one thing left. Die grinder with a cut off wheel. First we had to dis connect the coil over for room then get ready for some fun. we sliced the head of the bolt and he got under there and chiseled the rest off. which went pretty easy for what we were expecting it to be. Luckily I ordered 2 extra bolts. But that ended the fun for the day.

This is the one that's done

      Here's the carnage.

and the cause of the problem. When I had the rear built it got old Ford big bearings and I wanted the in hat parking brake and it needed different off set on the axle. so a special kit had to be put together. The kit is great but getting the housing ends to work is all the fun.

I just got back from 2 weeks in Fla. (We missed Irma). Then a week in Va for my grandsons Baptism.
I finished epoxying in the Auto Meter gauge pod on my 5th gen console, here's a couple of quick shots of it.

      '

I"ll finish it with a thin coat of filler and then probably have it hydro dipped.

Seats came in Tuesday they look pretty good.

Thanks! Not sure yet. I was thinking carbon fiber print, I also like the color it was or a little darker silver/gray. I'd like to do something I can tie into the Dash instrument panel.

      Hey Wayne,

The fab work on the console looks great! That gauge pod setup from the ‘69 Z28 setup looks great. In my opinion, one of the most iconic setups from the muscle car era.

      Getting closer and closer!

Mike, Jeff (jwcarguy) has one in his car and that's where I saw it in Carbon Fiber and liked it. I was thinking of rosewood to match the pieces for the radio and the left side of the dash, not sure it would be too much. Maybe a color to go with my choice of stripe to tie it to the outside of the car. Another paint decision.

Thanks Ray, I was looking for another console piece to see how I liked the Z/28 one. The only thing is I already have all the Auto Meter gauges with the full sweep they won't fit in the factory style.
