      Fun day today..

Long day of shooting.. We had a hired gun come in to shoot a cover for PHR. It's a paint and body issue and we needed an appropriate image.

What they wanted was a bright colored car in a paint shop.. well, I knew of one... so... I volunteered.. lol - I was just in the right place at the right time.

The guys at Best Of Show paint were great and put up with 6+ hours of moving this car here and that car there for the shots. Randy Lorentzen shot the car and employed a good $30,000 in camera equipment to get it done. It was cool to watch.

Anyways, spent the morning getting her ready for hte shoot. About the only thing I forgot was to bring the front spoiler. Now I can send the wheels off to get modified for the C5 junk.

Just an overall fun day of cars and talking smack..
spy pic that I snapped while Randy was adjusting lighting..

Steve, that looks great! Can't wait to get the magazine. What's the paint code on Penny? I'd love to know what color it is exactly.

The caps didn't show up in time. When I saw Eternity at SEMA I was happy to see the caps are mostly black. Normally I like blank caps but those are acceptable.

They will be mentioned by name in my LS2 story..

2002 Prowler Orange. I think they use a similar color on several other cars. I love OEM paints, easy to match.

Just need to build and coat an intake tube. It will be powdered the same color as the headers.

      Steve,

Have you driven it yet? How do you like the throttle by wire?

It starts, but no driving yet. So far the TBW system works great. I have also driven a different '68 LS2 car with the TBW and it felt great. After all, you don't hear many vette or GTO guys complaining about it do ya?
