Man I wish I could take credit for it, but it was all my interior guy. I just took it to him and said make it look good, they did the rest. BUT, feel free to copy it and improve upon it! Happy to take more pictures if you need it. It covered the DSE humps perfectly and I really like the extra stitching he did to kind of tie it into the deluxe interior package. I really dig the throw-back look of it all.

I may end up swapping them out for normal Magnaflows in the future. I like it loud, but this is kinda rowdy. LOL

I didn't see any Magnaflow "Bullets" on their website. They had Glasspack, Race, Round, etc, nothing specific to "Bullet". Thank you.

      Finished!

So I hear you're never really done with these things (and admittedly there are a few issues that need to be sorted out still), but I'm calling this one finished! The car is in my garage and I can drive it whenever I want. That sounds like the finish line to me.

Anyway, I've had a chance to get out and shoot it some, so I thought I'd share some "finished product" images since I've done everything else!

I'll get some videos of it posted up soon as well.

Hahaha, yeah... that's what they tell me. My wife needs to hear it's finished though, so we're calling it finished. LOL

Here's a couple more shots I got of it.

Thanks for the kind comments everyone. As you all well know, it's a labor of love (and perhaps lunacy at times)... but it sure is fun to drive!

      Acceleration and fly-by video

So I've been wanting to make a video of how the car sounds for a while and I finally got around to it. The car has 2.5" pipes from the headers back, through Magnaflow 4" round straight-through mufflers. It's pretty rowdy. I'd love to figure out how to keep these mufflers though, but get rid of the "trumpety" sound they make (0:13 on the video). I've heard of some people running two sets of these mufflers, but I've yet to hear it in person (I've decided after going with these mufflers that listening to clips on YouTube only gets you so far). BUT... a bit of bad news. The car has had a small-ish oil leak, and while I was making these videos, smoke just started boiling out the back from underneath the car. The bottom side of the car is coated, and I'm fairly positive it popped the rear main seal. Soooo, the motor is coming out. Here's the video though (minus the blow up):

Also, I decided to combine two of my favorite photography subjects, the camaro and the Milky Way. Here's my latest creation.

Really nice work! I've always liked the ZR1 wheels. The Red Witch really made that point as to the look, as does your Camaro.

I'm curious if you used an adapter for the front wheels. Or did the ATS (now Speedtech) AFX upright provide enough offset to not need one.

      Thanks in advance.

      Dan,

You may have mentioned it, but I didn't see it looking back through this thread. Tell me about your push button start. I assume that's what the button with the blue ring is above the ignition switch.

I'm trying to figure out something to put in place of the cigarette lighter and thought your setup looks nice.

      Daniel
