...It's equally difficult to throw a fish tank around a road course.

Larry, what size? We have a 55 gallon fresh water tank and love it. Lots easier to maintane than a smaller tank. We're also building a 550 gallon outdoor pond.

It's a glass 50 gallon bowfront that will be a reef tank. We have outgrown the 12 gallon models that are hard to maintain. Once it cycles we will transfer everything we have in the two 12 gallon tanks into it and it's off to e-bay for the nano-cubes.

Since we're posting at the same time I won't edit my last post.

You should definetely look into getting a Black Ghost Knife Fish. They grow to about 12-18" in length and are stealthy looking. They eat regular stuff like blood worms too.

That's a huge pond! Susan has a 35 gallon fish pond that turned into a racoon feeder two weeks ago.

I want one of these again. We had one in our 12 gallon tank but it vanished while out of town last year

Nice. My wife is trying to get me to upgrade our reef tank too. we started with a 20 gal tank, and have since dropped about 2500 in reef in it. Ouch. time to swap it all out. Some of our corals came with some impressive preditors on it. Im shocked how many snails and starfish have disappeared in my tank.

That's nice Larry. I have a 75 gallon tank that my Dad and I are currently designing a cabinet and head for. I'll be doing African Cichlids in it. Salt water is just too expensive for me. Right now I have a 10 gallon that I am increasingly getting tired of. Too much maintainance on those little tanks.

I want one of these again. We had one in our 12 gallon tank but it vanished while out of town last year

We had a fish disappear while we were on one of our out of town weekends. We were gone a couple of weeks in a row. One died while one of our two house sitters fished it out. We figured it out later, but never had the heart to corner our house sitters. We figured our sitter had to live with the grief so we didn't press it.

Before we figured it out we put posters up around the neighborhood. Nobody called to let us know they saw Fluffy.

For a while we had something vanish every time we went out of town. On our honeymoon we lost our pepermint and a cleaner shrimp. I replaced them with another cleaner and a fire and the fire shrimp vanished after just a few days. It seams like the more expensive something is the faster it dies.
