      Fuel filler misaligned

I have a 67 Camaro and a narrowed stainless fuel tank from DS&E, I noticed recently a BAD leak when filling up. After inspecting through the access area behine the license plate I discovered that the rubber hose that attaches the filler tube to the extension tube on the tank had to make a severe bend forward to attach to the tank and was being pulled off of the tank extension causing the leak. I don't think the tank can be moved back any further to align the tank extension with the filler neck, anyone else run into this problem, any ideas on a solution? I was thinking maybe a more flexible connecting hose, but not sure what to use that will withstand the fuel... Any ideas would be helpful.

Shorten up your filler neck on the gas cap end rather than the tank end and run a longer hose rather than the stock coupler hoses.

      Something like these...

      Or an angled hose...

I opened up the hole alittle more and used a 45 degree hose. It bolts up fine now. Well sorta. I need another hose because i cut it slightly too short on one end. lol
