NASCAR tech hub at Sonoma

This past weekend Sim Seats got to be a part of the tech hub at the Toyota Save Mart 350. What is the tech hub? This is the second year that NASCAR has invited all of their technology partners to a hospitality area outside of turn 4 to demonstrate some of what they are doing in the sport. Microsoft brought a 84" surface tablet to show off some of the NASCAR weather prediction technology. We were there with two of our motion simulators and iRacing was there with the software. It was a great event, and loads of fun to see those cars turn left and right!

Sadly, I did not get to watch much of the race, but it was a great experience, and fun to meet everyone there.
