Reverse Lights Question with Lokar Shifter

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this so moderators please move if appropriate.

1967 Camaro with a LS/4l80e swap. I'm running the Lokar threaded rod shifter. The shifter has a ground switch that can be used as a neutral safety for park and neutral or as a reverse light switch. This switch can not be used for both and Lokar does not carry anything else that can be mounted on the shifter. I'm currently using the switch on the shifter to be used as the neutral safety switch ran to the computer for starting the engine. That being said, anybody else have an idea for figuring out how to get the reverse lights to work? Some have said use a toggle switch. That's not happening. There has to be a better way. This is a computer controlled transmission. You would think there could be some type of electronic gadget we could splice into a wire coming from the transmission that would tell the switch when its in reverse to ground out to make the reverse lights work.

Any advice guys would be great!

Lokar also sells an nss switch that can be mounted to the side of the transmission gear selection shaft. You can use that to activate the reverse lights.

Get a factory PRNDL switch that mounts to the side of the case.

      or

Get a GSS-2000 from Dakota Digital and use that.

suprised that your harness doesn't have a connector for the shift switch right on the trans.
