What is a safe tire height for lowering 2-3 inches ? 70-72 A-Body

I notice that all the protouring cars are significantly lowered and they also have short tire height (around 25-26 inches)

I personally am not a fan of how these cars look from the side because the wheel wells don’t look filled out in relation to a 25.5 inch tire.

Is it possible to run a 26.5-26.75 inch tire with 2-3 inches of drop on a 70-72 A-Body? All input is appreciated

      thank you

Im running 26" tire (285/35r18) on 2" of drop. Wouldn't go much more than that.

2" drop springs and tall spindles in front and 2" drop springs in rear, with 25" tall front and 27" tall rear tires.

I’m getting a better idea of the ride heights in relation to drop.

      Thank you!
