Ignore Chris. C4's are a terrible platform. Not at all cheap and good handling without much effort... nope...

I'm still surprised no one has built an '89 Corvette for GTV in optima.

I'm not sure that 1st gen Camaro can get so lucky twice in a row. PPIR will be fun!

so i had a motor, clutch, headers, brakes, 12" wheels, etc., from a flooded c6, and i had this car, so it was an easy match to put it all together. i really wanted to make a super nice c4 and try to gain these cars a little respect also, so i spent a lot of time and money keeping the big tires under the body, doing the interior, etc....

But the reality is all the pickup points are stock and the car sits at nearly stock ride height. In vegas I was shocked to grid next to a badass 70 camaro and notice that his ROOF LINE WAS LOWER THAN MINE!

the reality is, if you wanted to build a car every bit as fast or faster than mine, you could do it with a ZF 6 speed car and an SBC REALLY cheap, especially if you dont care about a carb hanging out of the hood or tires sticking out of the fenders.

I wanted people to see that it won't take a fortune to build a REALLY badass C4.

I wouldnt shy away from the muscle car frames using c4 stuff either. I personally think they have some advantages on c5-7 stuff. Time will tell if I am right.

I thought about running my 89 C4 Corvette in GTV but, I would have to add a little over 200 pounds to be at legal weight so I said the hell with it. SCCA CAM suits me fine.
