      LS 1969 Camaro Headers

I currently have a 400rwhp LS1 with Hooker Super Competition Headers 1 3/4" (2288-1HKR) and they tuck up reasonably well (Image attached).

However, I'm going to be dropping in a built LS3 that will be cammed and at some point getting a Procharger on it.. End goal is somewhere around 750rwhp and the 1 3/4" headers are small for that. I'm thinking of upgrading to 1 7/8" or 2" primaries to 3" collectors with 3" exhaust. However, I'm considered about what will fit and if they will have issues hanging low. I'm wanting them to stay the same height off the floor as I need to be able to get over speed bumps.

Does anyone have opinions on larger LS headers for First Gen Camaros?

I would go with 1 7/8”. They will be better before you supercharge it. They might lose some top end once it’s blown but probably not worth it at the expense of fitment and ground clearance. There are a lot of guys making big power on 1 7/8”. Just my 2 cents.

That was sort of what I was leaning towards. Now I have to decide which set.. Leaning towards Hooker or Kooks
