Ls3 hot cam gmpp tune ..... fine tuning?

Anyone dyno tune their gmpp ls3 connect and cruise package and see any noticeable gains? Currently been running the tune that came with my gmpp ls3 hotcam package. Car runs great, idles great and zero issues. I didn't know if having it tuned to pull some more hp is worth it or not

If it was me, I would leave it alone, especially if it is running well!

O yea car runs amazing. Even better mpg with the new 3.70 gears.

Maybe wait till I add an intake or something ?

How much would the tune alone cost you?
And let's talk intakes! There is WAY too little information(and proven results) on intakes for how many there are available and for how long the LS3 has been around. Especially the last couple of months, so many new intakes, with so little available information.

I have the ls3 525 connect and cruise package that has a email tune from pat g. It was running fine with no problems other than a slight shake or stumble leaving a stop right off idle sometimes, I just thought it was the cam. I was not worried about dyno numbers so I talked to pat g. and asked him if the gm performance tune was ok he said its close but not perfect. He sent me his tune and the engine runs smoother and does pull harder. Costing to a stop at highway speeds sounds like the engine is off and the stumble is gone. He charges $400 for the email tune.

Can a tune be more precisely tweaked...yes. Is it needed no. It’s just like buying a new camaro and asking if it should be re-tuned.

I would not if you plan you mod it down the road.
