      Question about gauge sweep direction

I'm looking into gauges for my 55 Chevy. I like the Dakota Digital stuff and they offer 2 different series for my car, the VHX and the HDX. The VHX is nice and to the point and will get the job done. The HDX is newer and has more features which I like, but the tach sweep going counter clockwise seems goofy to me. It just seems like both the speedo and tach should sweep the same direction and probably clockwise. Pic is of the VHX. Am I wrong here and overthinking it?

I tend to agree with the above...

I just did this in my 55, it’s all symmetrical and doesn’t bother the eye one bit
