      LT4 Engine

      Item Location (City/State): Hastings, MI

      Price: $4000

Description: Just helping a friend who is going a different direction with his build. He has a LT4 Long block that we picked up to build for his Nova. The heads have already been CNC ported by Katech. The kicker is when we got the engine the rod caps were missing. Aftermarket rods and piston/rod combos are available.

This engine is available as is or we can build it in any configuration you like. I'm including as couple pictures of an LT4 we recently put together for Jeff Hansen and a couple pictures of the ported heads.

I don't know what the market is for these motors, but that seems like a pretty good deal. You may want to post the actual pictures of the motor you are looking to sell though.

Got a business name for future builds? Looking to build an LS3 engine in the near future.

Rod caps missing? So you will need new rods and the rotating assembly re-balanced. Doesn't seem like too much work. Question being though....Why are they missing?

Is this a complete engine expect that?

Sorry, I missed your post. This engine has been sold. It was a complete long block minus the rod caps. I'm not sure why they were missing. This engine was a crate engine warranty return that was inspected and sold as is. Our machine shop checked the crank and block and everything checked out. Rods from GM are about $90 each.
