Which evaporator?

The Plan with the LS swap was to modify the suitcase on the firewall to accept the 4th gen F-body evaporator too, and just use the Camaro parts since I knew they worked together, and otherwise I am a complete idiot with regards to how AC works.

I have realized, though, now that I've chopped up and fiberglassed the suitcase to fit that evaporator, that the notching I'll need to do to the frame to fit the lines won't work.

I've got the Holley alternator bracket on the driver's side, was looking at their AC brackets too but they offer R4 or SD508/SD7 mounting, neither of which is the same as the Camaro compressor.

So - would it be appropriate to keep the 4th gen F evaporator, go back to the stock '69 A-body evaporator, or some completely different core for the AC unit? I'm not made of money so the VA kits, etc. are not really feasible.
