Rex from Wyoming - 1973 Dodge Challenger

Hello Pro-touring community. My name’s Rex. Here’s my current project I thought may be worthy to display here. Not a whole lot accomplished so far, but I’ve accumulated a lot of parts and am about to get started on the fun stuff!
      Here’s the background:
Picked up a 1973 Challenger that had been (poorly) chopped up. I was told the guy I bought it from bought it in the same condition, for a Hemi that came with it. The previous owner wanted to go pro-touring (more like pro street with the super flexible ladder style frame that was being built) and chopped it up. I was building a twin turbo ‘47 Chevy Sedan Delivery (not really pro-touring worthy, but I’ll throw up a pic for those curious) at the time but figured I had enough room to stick it away until I had time to work on it.
So my plan is to build a custom chassis, fit a full C5 drivetrain mated to a Viper V10 with full C5 suspension. Then build the rest of the car around it. Should be fun!
I’ve built quite a bit of it in Cad to get an idea of layout/placement/shifting of components/ etc. this’ll be a slow project, and in a month I’ve gotta tuck the Delivery back alongside this one and the garage is gonna be a little harder to work in for a while!
My first concern is trying to figure out how/where to widen the quarter panels. The body line on the e body challengers really narrows the car up, and with the 28” tall tires I want to run, I either need to rake the car A LOT, pull out the entire fender from the top ~2” each side, or alter the body line/ add a big ass flare. I’d love to hear some opinions on this. I’m not opposed to narrowing the cradle and axles to get it to fit, but I’m also going to widen the front fenders so it seems to be fitting to do a full ‘wide body.’
Well thanks for looking, here’s some pics. Let me know what you think!

And here’s a couple of the TT ‘47
Side note: having a hell of a time uploading pics I’ve done the normal [ I m g ] (url) [ / I m g ] but it doesn’t work in the preview unless I ‘attach’ the pictures. I miss the functionality of Photobucket:( currently trying Imgur.
