See I'm kinda here too. I wouldn't want to have too much money wrapped up in it. But it is oddly cool.

i can picture that with a bunch of motor sticking up out of the hood, slammed down with tires hanging out of all 4 corners and some really obnoxious sounding exhaust and drive to work and back everyday !! ill buy it !

If price is fair & custom fiberglass work looks solid enough , I'd say go for it. One actual upside if it's been sitting in the sun for a few years is that all that custom fiberglass work has done most of it's shrinkage & should have a more stable surface to bodywork.
I say paint it black or brandywine.

I like it. I see way to many cookie cutter pro-touring cars. I would go way left field and put in a tuned 2.0L turbo and 6-speed from an ATS. They are light and capable of 500 ponies. You could have a full running car that is more than 1500 pounds less than the average '69 Camaro.

That's a kit they sold back in the day. They still pop like the one in the pics that never got completed.

      https://www.google.com/search?q=vw+c...JtNcCVlHQBojM:

Makes more sense to me now that it's a kit car body for a bug, first thought it was some sort of c-3 vette center/ Camaro front/ rear blend job. One example I saw was for sale for $700.

Still though even that it's a little funky looking, something really cool could be made out of it. Being that it's a production fiberglass body , it could be chopped & changed up any sort of way needed. At least the door hinge droop won't be an issue.
Would definitely make a conversation place completed.

Is it weird that I kinda like it? It would be different if it was done up right
