6'1" 250 nees seats. OH LORD NOT ANOTHER SEAT HELP ME THREAD. Please guide me

Oh my hellllllll so many seat threads. Im 6' 1" 250. I need a thin seat sits low gives more legroom for me and my wife and daughter. The girls are 5' 9 and daughter is 5'10" Some suggestions would be great. I dont really care for leather. Power is nice but not a deal breaker. Those big fat bulky headrests on the gto seats are goofy ( guess I could rework them). I dont want big huge side wings like some subarus. Help me to find some nice thin ish seats. Oh Id like them to have flip forward capability.
Thanks for any and all help

Based on your signature, guess you have a Camaro? Those cars are not known for having spacious interior room.

All kidding aside, I have Recaro Specialist seats in my 67 Firebird, with low mount. Recaro also makes a version of Specialist that is thinner/wider. I'm 5'11" and have tried multiple seats (Porsche/Scats) before settled on the Recaros. They are very comfortable, and sturdy.

I am the same size as you and the goofy GTO seats work just fine for me in my 1965 Buick Skylark. I lowered the seats as much as possible and I have plenty of head room.

I used corbeau sport seats in my 65 skylark and had to move the brackets back even more!! I'm 6'3 250,,,,
Your daughter and wife will be flipping coins about who sits in the front,,and who gets to get wedged into the back!!!

Similar size to you. I use the Recaro Specialist M. Not cheap, and mine are leather. I has custom mounting brackets made to get the seat as low as possible as most will mount it a couple of inches higher. I can still use the sliders.

I really wanted the Recaro Cross Sportster (I think that's a different name, but appears to be the seat I'm thinking of) which has the same bottom at the Specialist and a sportier back, but I couldn't find any at the time I needed them...

I'm 6'5" 235#, I have the Corbeau A4 Wide, with a shaved base on the driver side. I used Planted seat brackets and had the legs cut and re-welded shorter.

I’m 6’4” 300, used m3 convertible seats, their stock brackets bolted to the floor at the front right at the factory holes, and spacers in the back through the floor to bolt the rear holes. When I drive my seat back is just touching the bottom of the back seat.

68 Camaro, Custom reupholstered Recaro specialist, custom fabbed bracjets, tmi headliner...6.1 230lb, big head...lots of room left.
Sat in 69 with tmi seats, would hit...
Recaro are the most comfortable and well designed seats out there imo.

I recently installed ProCar Elite Lumbar seats in my '69 Camaro using their seat brackets that fit very low to the floor. You might look into those seats.

I also have ProCar seats (6'3" 245lbs) and the side bolsters are snug but comfortable. I am wide up top but don't have a big waist 34", so it really depends how your 250lbs are distributed.

However long you think your project will take, double it and you might be halfway right.
