      GMPP LS3 crate engine starter

Which starter did you LS3 guys use ?? I will be using a TKO 600 5 speed trans. The GMPP instruction sheet states to use the 10465385 starter ? I wasn't sure if this starter was for automatics only. Thx.

I used the AC Delco 5th gen Camaro starter. There is also a really cool heat shield that can be bolted right to it and I like the fact that it has a connector for the solenoid.

The Amazon link has links for the bolts and the pig tail. If you look through my Cougar build there, I have the heat shield and the screws for it in there somewhere.

We use the Tuff Stuff starter. Summit usually stocks them.
