      Hello

Hello all -- just posting a quick note that I'm excited to finally join Forum and participating. Have utilized forum for many years for good reading on various subjects. I'm a closet resto-mod restorer. Closet because I disassembled my 69 Camaro 17 years ago and it sits now 100% disassembled and ready to go back together. Had 3 children in those 17 years so no need to say any further on why it has not gone back together. At a point where I can spend a few hours per week on it now and hopefully get a plan to put this thing back on the ground.
Have LS2 shelved with auto for 5 years. DSE mini tub and front suspension with JR1's on all four corners. Rushforth 18X12 and 18X10 with Michelin Pilot's for wrapping. Body on rotisserie with just a tail panel and a quarter left to replace (only bc a friend warped quarter trying to weld in a patch panel --- too much heat - education is expensive!!!). So i'm sure I'll keep running into roadblocks trying to figure it all out. Currently trying to figure out if I can make some Brembo calipers and rotors from a Superspeedway Cup car fit my application. Not my area of expertise so other than getting a bracket made to mount calipers -- afraid I'll run into some unforeseen obstacles with spacing, fitment, pedal feel, etc.. Especially because the rotors are Blade-type (no veins - just a single 3/8" thick blade (13") cross-drilled)! Anyway, sorry for the ramble -- got going and couldn't stop -- now if I can just get that to transfer over to actual work on this car!
