      Recaro seats

I have a chance to buy some Recaro seats out of a Jetta, has anybody used this style seats or have an idea what they could be worth? I wonder if you can get tracks for a first gen?

      Eventually the would be redone.
      Thanks for any help!

Those seats feel SO good... my homeboy has a set in his Jetta Mk2 and they are so nice.

They go for about 500-1k depending on the condition.

I had them in my MKII Jetta and loved them so much that I kept them for my Firebird when I got rid of that car. I haven't gotten them mounted up yet though so definitely interested in what you find. There is at least one member on here who adapted them by welding up an adapter to the stock 1st gen sliders.

I missed out on both sets I had my eye on so I picked these up for the car.

If you come across another pair, snatch them up just to have. I wouldn't pay more than $250. I have a MK2 16v Jetta as a second project car with those installed Here a second set I purchased and had recovered for my Cutlass.

I probably will if I see a reasonable set but at least it doesn't have to be a priority.

Yeah, with me having the Jetta I was a member of a local VW forum so finding them was easy. You can always check vw vortex forum too if searching for a pair. The ones with power bases are a little more expensive, but you can sell those. The tracks are VW specific, so you can make $50-75 buck back.

No pics, but they are universal brackets from Wedge Engineering. I can snap some and post here later in case one of you is interested. They also make car specific brackets.

Yeah, that would be great if you could.

I have a power set from one of my old Jettas. Good idea on selling that off.

Not sure which orientation these will post in. I haven't figured out how to rotate these pics since I'm not using a hosting site anymore.

They only come in GLI 16v '88-92 or GTI 16v '90-92 and they look like the grey ones posted up top not like mine. Mine are recovered to an old school theme.

The Recaro's are fantastic if you can find them. I absolutely love the set I had recovered for my '71 Chevelle.

Ive got my heart set on a new set of Recaro CS sportster seats for my 69 Camaro. Anyone know the best place to buy? Not gonna be cheap.
