      73 - 81 camaro console in a 1st gen

Thinking about putting a 73 to 81 console in my 1st gen. The manual one looks like I'll have room to put a cup holder in it as well. Anyone have pic?

I've been wanting to try it too. Especially with the fatter seats I'm running.

Honestly, the 5th gen console would look more at home in the 1st gen than the 2nd gen and you'll get cup holders out of the deal in the process.

sorry its already done and its badass. Dual usb charge ports in the center console with cig power port as well, hidden ipod cord, finch shifter boot and handle, etc. Very easy to do and looks factory.

Nice, looks great. I've wondered about this in the past as well. Way back then they were hard to find in good condition for a reasonable price, and they weren't remaking them either.

Did you get a repop, or buy a used one?

repop automatic console since the t56 shifter is back further. Shifter ring from year one. The cubby area even matches the center dash
