      Foam for customizing seats?

Does anyone know the type of foam I need to customize seats and the type of glue I can use for it?

I retro fitted the rear seats of a 09 Cadillac CTS into my 70 ford torino. I had to cut out some foam on the rear bottom seats to be able to make it happen. I know need to shape, and glue some new foam to the old foam.

My first attempt was some flimsy foam that had poor shaping qualities, and I used some spray can glue stuff I got at the upholstery supply shop. Didn't work out too well.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

      Thanks!

I'm not an upholsterer but I know when I redid my original Chevelle seats American Cushion Industries foam was well-regarded.
