On my other car i had stock spindles,GW upper and lower A-arms,Varishock coilovers up front,and in the back i had hotchkis tvs kit with varishock shocks hellwig protouring bar,goals are street n strip

Andrew hit the nail on the head here. What do you plan to do with the car? Are you wanting a nice cruiser? Or something that you are going to take to the track?

We've developed several kits for the A bodies over the years. We have setups that range from a nice, plush driver to something that you can race the wheels off of. If you're wanting something that will give you a nice mixture of the two, here is my personal preference out of the kits we offer. We've made several geometry corrections to the arms, added delrin bushings, and use our monotube coilovers (that have a 1,000,001 mile warranty!). All in all, it makes the car a much better driver and is something that you can drive anywhere.

To further the comments on how you want to use the car. It also depends on depends on how much work you want to do and how much you want to spend. And also, how much effort you want to spend on "tuning" the suspension. I'm not sure if shock length on the A-body is an issue like it is on the G-body but something you should look into if you do decide to go coil-over.

What do you plan on doing as far as spindle/brakes go? Reuse existing with taller ball joints or go to an aftermarket spindle (SpeedTech and ridetech)? This will be important as you'll need to make the part selections so they all work together today and in the future if you are not doing everything at one time.

I've spoken with both ridetech (Josh) and UMI (Ramey) recently and have been happy with their customer service. I'd suggest calling and speaking to all the companies (UMI, SpeedTech, and Ridetech and anyone else you are considering) and getting an idea of their thoughts based on your use, what you want out of the car, and your budget.
