      Paint Options

I've just about wrapped up all the sheet metal and nearing the Paint stage. This is a 69 Pace car non original Engine. Here's my question. Is there any $ value lost if I were to paint the entire car, top to bottom in Dover White ? Or should I stick with the original paint scheme. White on top, Black Firewall and under carriage ? Personally, I'm leaning towards, all one color.

      Thanks for any input.

If the car isn't all original, I wouldn't think it would matter what color you painted it as far as value goes. I could definitely be wrong, maybe someone else would chip in..

I wouldn't worry about it. The only real collectible cars of anything (SS, Z28, Pace Car) need to have original drivetrain, and documentation. I think once the originality of the car is lost anyways, it doesn't matter. I say build it your way!

I agree with the other two posts, paint it the color you like best. Without the original drivetrain it won't matter much.
