      Buying Custom Seat Brackets....

      So.....

I have a lead on a 06 GTO Interior.... and would love to get those front seats into my 67 GTO.....

But I admittedly have NO fabrication skills.....

From what I am reading on the Wedge site http://wedgebrackets.com/seat-brackets-home/ ....... it looks like I buy the brackets and sliders and then let them know what seats I am installing or just give them the measurements of the four mounting points on the seats I am putting in..... and they make the brackets....

Has anyone done this....? Does it truly become a Bolt-In deal to install the seats?

I will call them Monday, but figured I would get some feedback 1st....

      Thanks

I've heard of people having success with Wedge Engineering, but they were racing seats not factory retrofits. I suggest you follow on that call...

Any local fab shop should be able to whip some brackets up too...are you not planning on using the power bases ? ...or are seats you're considering not have them?

No need for the power bases as far as I am comcerned.... Once the seat is in position, it will be moved rarely

If he doesn't purchase the bases, i need the passenger side base. I've only got a power driver seat right now.

Will be picking up drivers seat from buddy maybe this weekend...... just to see what it even looks like in the car....

I have reservations of modern seats in classics anyway, this will confirm how I feel..... I might end up with ProCars anyway
